The seasonal progression without rains and temperatures above 30° C (86° F) continues to hold. During the night the temperature drops to 18-20° C (64-68° F).
The vines, also thanks to the springtime rains, are holding up well and are not suffering the heat.
We have begun to prune the grapes for Brunello di Montalcino in the central vineyards at 200/250 meters above sea level.
Veraison has begun for some of the vines. This is a good sign.
We are looking forward to veraison real soon in the Napa Valley.
