Yesterday 11 February 2010 it has snowed in Sant'Angelo in
Colle. up until now, we could see the snow on Mount Amiata and we heard of
snowfall in the other parts of Italy but here it only has rained. It was a
light snowfall, just a few centimeters, but the weather forecasts say that it
will continue to snow. All things considered, the cold and the snow of these
times are not bad for us. Actually, they feed the aquifers.
We are finishing now the pruning of the Paganelli vineyard, the oldest vineyard for growing the Sangiovese for Brunello at Tenuta Il Poggione.
Wow, it's always nice to see Montalcino area with snow! If you have more picture, we can upload them on our fan page Vino Family here to share with several wine lovers: http://www.facebook.com/VinoFamily. Let me know ;)
