Nice map, Ale, hope to print it out and put it in my office. Years ago i used to show a smaller version of it to my clients and talk about the different zones of Montalcino, similar to the way I would talk about Burgundy or Bordeaux. Most of them thought I was stark raving mad (this was 20+ years ago) that Brunello would never reach the same heights as French wine. Good luck with the 2004, I remember tasting it with you @ Vinitaly and thought it was a good wine from a difficult vintage marred by heat spikes. I am doing a tasting of 2004 Brunellos soon and will include yours in to re-evaluate. Happy "La Befana"!

Love your 2004 Brunello. Tasted it at Enoteca 100 (http://www.chevsky.com/2009/11/earthquake-epicentered-at-enoteca-100.html), remarked on it on my wine blog! I reposted your request to comment on people's tasting impressions of the 04 Brunello on facebook. Would love to do a vertical tasting of older vintages some day.
