Today I pour our wines at the Eccellenza di Toscana tasting in Florence. The 2004 Brunello di Montalcino of Il Poggione was awarded the 5 "grappoli" award from the Duemilavini guide of Italian wine.
There are hundreds of sommelliers, trade people and consumers gathered in Florence for this big tasting of Tuscan wines.
Later on they will give to Franco Biondi Santi the honorary sommellier diploma and tastevin.
