My father and I believe that the harvest will begin in mid-September this year. Despite the loss of some fruit in the hail storm last Friday, we are still very happy with this very classic vintage. As soon as harvest begins, I will begin posting every day at Montalcino Report. So please check back soon.
I was very sorry to hear about the hail storm that damaged so much of your fruit. I am glad to hear that the remaining crop is good. I guess the storm damage will result in very high pricing for Brunello from the 2008 vintage. What do you anticipate happening in this regard?
