Il Poggione in the New York Times

Eric Asimov wrote a column today about the current Brunello controversy in which he mentions Il Poggione.

“Even old-school producers make very different wines," wrote Eric. Contrast, for example, the grace and glorious aromas of Case Basse di Soldera, perhaps the greatest brunello producer, with the power and density of Il Poggione. And yet, the two wines share a purity and elegance characteristic of fine brunello.”
